Dr. Almotasem Alomari is a Psychiatrist Consultant & assistant professor of Psychiatry in Faculty of Medicine at Mu’tah university. He finished his study at Sind Medical College at University of Karachi in Pakistan in 1981, then he spent the residency in Al-Bashir Hospital in Amman, Jordan to move in 1982 to the National Center for Psychiatry.
Dr. Alomari has the fellowship in 1987 from Royal Edinburgh Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, UK, and The Board Certification in Psychiatry of The Institute of Psychiatry from University of London. In 1988 he has the Jordan Medical Council Certification in Psychiatry. He started his teaching career in 1982 as a lecturer in Psychiatry at Amman College for Nursing, then moved to be a Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at Zarka College for nursing in 1987. In 1997 he became a specialist in Psychiatry and Assistant to the Chief of the Psychiatric Specialty.
